Responsibilities of theme coordinators

• Facilitate discussions between the coordinating institution's graduate programs (PPGs) and those of the partner institutions regarding the internationalization network's objectives;

• Facilitate discussions between the coordinating institution's PPGs and those of the partner institutions regarding the development of collaborative, coordinated, and interdisciplinary research, including proposals for actions and benefits for communities affected by socio-environmental disasters and for companies aiming to operate more sustainably;

• Plan and lead the network's internationalization activities—as outlined in the strategic plan—through shared decision-making between the coordinating institution's PPGs and those of the partner institutions;

• Define, in collaboration with the participating higher education institutions (HEIs), criteria for selecting candidates for various scholarship categories, aiming to maximize network collaboration, ensure the efficient use of public funds, foster the training of qualified human resources, and promote successful hybrid teaching experiences;

• Monitor progress toward the network's thematic objectives, identifying risks and delays and implementing mitigation measures to ensure adherence to the schedule and budget;

• Contribute to the work of the network's administrative committee in executing the work plan;

• Hold periodic meetings with the PPG teams from both the partner HEIs and the coordinating institution;

• Participate in periodic meetings with the steering committee to provide detailed reports on results achieved;

• Manage funds received via the AUXPE program;

• Prepare technical reports on internationalization activities, highlighting results achieved, targets met, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
